Lightweight concrete foaming agent

Dossage
• Dosage varies considerably according to employed materials, temperature, mix-design, mixing procedure, etc. Therefore, trial mix should be made to determine the appropriate dosage.

Application
Pre-foamed method
• Dilute Aydos®-Lightcon 25 with water at a ratio of 1:19.
• Control amount of compressed air and flow of diluted Aydos®-Lightcon 25 in order to obtain appropriate optimum foam volume (Volume of foam/volume of diluted Aydos®-Lightcon 25), around 20- 25 times.
• Introduce foam into either continuous mixer or agitator truck directly and mix well at high speed with mortar or concrete for at least 10-15 min. Then place foamed Mortar /concrete by pump, etc
Ordinary mix method
• Introduce undiluted Aydos®-Lightcon 25 into mixing water. In this case, amount of Aydos®-Lightcon 25 should be considered as a part of mixing water.
• Mixing procedure: Introduce aggregate and cement into the mixer and then add mixing water with Aydos®- Lightcon 25.
• Mix well for 1.2 – 1.5 times longer period of ordinary mix.
