Description

Aydosnew® Flow 365 is a next-generation high-performance superplasticizer concrete additive based on polycarboxylate. It significantly reduces concrete mix water, provides high early and final strength, increases workability, and prevents consistency loss.

Applications

  • Ready-mix concrete production that needs to be transported over long distances in hot climates.

  • Used to overcome consistency loss occurring in hot, windy, and humid weather.

  • Floor and field concretes.

  • Foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and shear walls.

  • Bridge, viaduct, tunnel, airport, and dam concretes.

  • Precast and prefabricated concrete production.

  • Concrete requiring high final strength.

  • Concrete requiring excellent workability and consistency retention.

Properties / Advantages

  • Provides significant increases in both early and final strength of concrete.

  • Maintains concrete consistency for long periods during summer months, eliminating the need for re-adjustment.

  • Reduces mix water significantly in concrete requiring very high water reduction (25%-35%).

  • Prevents shrinkage cracks that may occur due to high hydration heat.

  • Reduces the rate of carbonation in concrete.

  • Provides self-compacting properties to the concrete.

  • Allows high unit weight and strength potential.

  • Eliminates the risk of segregation.

  • Improves water impermeability due to the low water/cement ratio.

  • Eliminates noise pollution by removing the need for vibration.

Dosage

  • For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.5 - 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage of the additive may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
  • During consistency adjustment, the high water-reduction capacity of the additive must be taken into account, and excessive water should be avoided in the mixture.
