Ministry of Public Works Specification No: 04.613/1-A3
TS EN 934-2 Tables 3.1 and 3.2: High-range water-reducing / superplasticizer concrete admixture

Description
Aydosnew® Flow 40 is a next-generation polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer concrete admixture that provides high-range water reduction, excellent workability retention, and both early and final high strength development.

Fields of Application

  • Ready-mix concrete production

  • Precast and prefabricated concrete production

  • Concrete mixes requiring excellent flowability and workability retention

  • Concrete requiring dense and smooth surfaces

  • Reinforced concrete with dense rebar placement and challenging placement conditions

  • Concrete requiring high early and final strength

  • High-performance and durable concrete mixes

  • Injection and ground stabilization applications

  • Concrete structures requiring low permeability

  • Architectural, structural, and artistic concrete works

  • Complex and geometrically detailed formworks

  • Self-compacting concrete (SCC) production

Features / Advantages

  • Reduces segregation and bleeding, improving abrasion resistance

  • Significantly reduces mixing water requirements

  • Provides excellent self-compacting properties

  • Enhances both early and final compressive strength

  • Reduces the rate of carbonation and improves shrinkage and creep characteristics

  • Enables long-distance concrete pumping

  • Provides void-free and smooth concrete surfaces

  • Allows normal setting without retardation

  • Reduces curing time and temperature in precast production, contributing to energy savings

  • Enables high unit weight and strength

  • Prevents rapid slump loss in concrete

Dosage
For flowable and self-compacting concrete: 0.5 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash) is recommended.
The dosage may vary depending on aggregate characteristics, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, trial mixes should be conducted in laboratory conditions to determine the optimal dosage.
When adjusting consistency, the admixture's strong water-reducing capability should be considered, and excessive water addition must be avoided.
