Description

Aydosnew® Flow GL 150 is a high-quality liquid additive specifically developed for concrete production, especially suitable for cold weather conditions. It is designed to produce high-quality concrete with a low water/cement ratio and a long workability time.

Applications

  • Used in concrete production requiring early high strength.

  • Used in areas where early form removal or rapid loading is required.

  • Concrete requiring high water reduction and long workability.

  • Concrete requiring dense and smooth surfaces.

  • S4-S5 and self-compacting concrete production with high unit weight and very high strength.

  • High-quality ready-mix concrete production in accordance with EN 206-1 standard.

Properties / Advantages

  • Produces durable, high-quality concrete.

  • Allows for easier placement, faster strength development, labor savings, and earlier form removal/turnover.

  • Reduces the carbonation rate, improves mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

  • Enables pumping of concrete over long distances.

  • Prevents rapid loss of consistency in concrete.

  • Reduces curing time and temperature in precast element production, shortening form removal times.

  • Increases resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and improves mechanical properties like shrinkage and creep.

  • Increases abrasion resistance by reducing segregation and bleeding.

  • Ensures easy placement and smooth surfaces in low water/cement ratio concrete applications without loss of workability.

Dosage

  • For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.7 – 1.8 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage of the additive may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
  • During consistency adjustment, the high water-reduction capacity of the additive must be taken into account, and excessive water should be avoided in the mixture.
