Ministry of Public Works Poz No: 04.613/1-A3
TS EN 934-2 Table 3.1 and 3.2: High Water-Reducing / Superplasticizer Concrete Additive

Description

Aydosnew® Fluid 74 is a next-generation superplasticizer concrete additive based on polycarboxylates, designed to produce self-compacting and high-performance concrete with significantly reduced water content. It provides high early and final strength, making it ideal for concrete mixes that require excellent flowability, self-compaction, and high strength.

Applications

  • Concrete production requiring high early strength.

  • Concrete mixes needing early form removal or rapid loading.

  • Concrete mixes requiring high water reduction and extended workability.

  • Reinforced concrete with placement difficulties due to fine reinforcement.

  • Concrete production requiring impermeability.

  • Concrete mixes requiring dense and smooth surfaces.

  • Production of high unit weight and high-strength S4-S5 and self-compacting concrete.

  • Production of high-quality ready-mix concrete compliant with EN 206-1 standards.

Properties / Advantages

  • Provides significant increases in both early and final strength.

  • Highly reduces water content in the concrete mix.

  • Ensures long-term consistency retention.

  • Provides self-compacting properties to the concrete.

  • Allows for dense and smooth surface finishes.

  • Improves impermeability of concrete due to low water/cement ratio.

  • Reduces curing time and temperature in precast element production, providing energy savings.

  • Enhances concrete's resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and temperature changes.

  • Improves mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

  • Facilitates easier placement and faster strength gain, saving labor and allowing for earlier form removal/turnover.

  • Eases the pumping of concrete.

Dosage

  • For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.4 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage of the additive may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
  • During consistency adjustment, the high water-reduction capacity of the additive must be taken into account, and excessive water should be avoided in the mixture.
