Description

Aydosnew® Gen 3X is a next-generation superplasticizer concrete additive based on polycarboxylates. It is highly flowable, self-compacting, and able to settle into narrow, deep sections with high reinforcement, without requiring internal or external vibration. It maintains cohesion without causing problems such as segregation and bleeding, and has excellent workability and passability.

Properties / Advantages

  • Provides significant early and ultimate strength increases.

  • Retains consistency for a long time in hot weather, eliminating the need for re-adjustment.

  • Reduces water content significantly in concretes with high water reduction needs (25-35% reduction).

  • Prevents shrinkage cracks that may occur due to high hydration heat.

  • Reduces the rate of carbonation in concrete.

  • Grants self-compacting properties to the concrete.

  • Provides a high unit weight and strength.

  • Eliminates the risk of segregation.

  • Improves impermeability of concrete by using a low water/cement ratio.

  • Increases pumpability.

  • Enables a smooth, void-free surface.

  • Eliminates noise pollution by removing the need for vibration.

Dosage

  • For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.7 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage of the additive may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
  • When adjusting consistency, the high water-reduction properties of the additive must be considered, and excessive water should be avoided in the mix.
