Description

Aydosnew® Gen 50 is a next-generation superplasticizer concrete additive based on modified polycarboxylates, specifically designed for ready-mix and precast concrete production. It is ideal for concrete production where high early strength development, high water reduction, and excellent workability are required.

Properties / Advantages

• Significantly reduces the water content in the concrete mix.

• Provides substantial early strength development.

• Prevents rapid loss of consistency in concrete.

• Grants self-compacting properties to the concrete.

• Produces low-void, smooth-surfaced, and less permeable concrete.

• Saves energy by reducing curing time and temperature during precast element production.

Dosage

• For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.6 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
• The dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
• When adjusting consistency, the high water-reduction properties of the additive must be considered, and excessive water should be avoided in the mix.
