Description

Aydosnew® Gen 750 is a liquid additive developed for concrete production, specifically suitable for cold weather conditions. It is designed to provide a low water/cement ratio and long workability time, making it ideal for high-quality concrete production.

Applications

• Concrete requiring high early strength in cold weather conditions.

• Concrete production for placement in densely reinforced and non-reinforced, lightweight or normal-weight elements with placement difficulties.

• High-strength concrete where a low water/cement ratio is required.

• Areas requiring early form removal or rapid loading.

• Concrete requiring excellent fluidity and consistency retention.

• Heavy precast applications.

• Ready-mix concrete production.

• Self-compacting concrete (SCC) production.

Properties / Advantages

• Ensures normal setting time for concrete without delaying the setting process.

• Allows early high-strength concrete production even at low temperatures.

• Reduces curing time and temperature in precast element production, shortening the form removal process.

• Increases concrete's resistance to freeze-thaw cycles and improves mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

• Reduces segregation and bleeding, enhancing the wear resistance of concrete.

• Provides smoother and better-looking concrete surfaces.

• Ensures easy placement and smooth surfaces in low water/cement ratio concrete applications without loss of workability.

Dosage

• For flowing and self-compacting concretes: It is recommended to use between 0.6 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
• The dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory.
• When adjusting consistency, the high water-reduction properties of the additive must be considered, and excessive water should be avoided in the mix.
