Description

Aydosper® B 22 is a modified polymer-based superplasticizer concrete additive that significantly reduces the water content in the concrete mix, increasing both early and final strengths or providing high flowability with the same amount of mix water. It ensures high workability and provides easy placement for normal concrete and micro-silica containing concrete, with the ability to maintain consistency.

Applications

• Concrete requiring high final strength.

• Concrete that requires dense and smooth surfaces.

• Concrete for challenging placements such as fine, densely reinforced concrete structures.

• Concrete requiring high water reduction and long workability.

• Concrete where early formwork removal or rapid loading is required.

• Ready-mix concrete production, both with and without pumps.

Properties / Advantages

• Increases early and final strength of concrete.

• Enables the production of dense and smooth surfaces.

• Improves concrete’s impermeability due to the low water/cement ratio.

• Facilitates easy placement and quicker strength development, saving labor time; allows earlier formwork removal.

• Enables concrete to be pumped over long distances.

• Reduces the rate of carbonation and improves mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

Dosage

• It is recommended to use between 0.8 – 1.9 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
• The dosage may vary depending on the properties of the aggregates, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is advisable to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory to determine the appropriate dosage.
