Description

Aydosper® HS 1034 is a high-performance superplasticizer concrete additive based on naphthalene sulfonate. It significantly improves the workability of concrete, reduces the mix water content, and enhances early and final strengths.

Applications

  • Concrete requiring early and high final strength.

  • Concrete requiring impermeability.

  • Concrete requiring plastic consistency and fluidity.

  • Precast and prefabricated concrete production.

  • Concrete with placement difficulties, including thin, heavily reinforced, or unreinforced, lightweight or normal-weight concrete.

  • Concrete requiring high water reduction and long workability.

  • Ready-mixed concrete production with and without pumps.

Properties / Advantages

  • Significantly reduces the mix water content.

  • Provides marked early high strength development.

  • Prevents rapid loss of consistency.

  • Imparts self-compacting properties to the concrete.

  • Provides high unit weight and strength.

  • Results in low voids, better surface appearance, and more impermeable concrete.

  • Reduces curing time and temperature in precast production, saving energy.

  • Eliminates the risk of segregation.

  • Reduces the rate of carbonation and improves mechanical properties like shrinkage and creep.

  • Increases concrete's resistance to freezing and thawing.

  • Enables long-distance pumping of concrete.

  • Eliminates the need for vibration, reducing noise pollution.

Dosage

  • It is recommended to use between 0.6 – 1.8 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage may vary depending on the properties of the aggregates, concrete grade, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is advisable to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory to determine the appropriate dosage.
