Description

Aydosper® NBA 71 is a modified naphthalene sulfonate-based superplasticizer concrete additive that significantly increases concrete strength with a low water/cement ratio while enhancing workability. It significantly improves flowability without increasing water content and without the risk of segregation, providing high durability.

Applications

  • Concrete requiring high final strength.

  • Concrete where dense and smooth surfaces are desired.

  • Concrete requiring high water reduction and long workability.

  • Areas where early formwork removal or rapid loading is required.

  • Foundations, slabs, beams, columns, and wall concrete.

  • Concrete for bridges, viaducts, tunnels, airports, and dams.

Properties / Advantages

  • Significantly increases early high strength development.

  • Ensures normal setting time for concrete without any retardant effect.

  • Provides high unit weight and strength.

  • Allows for long-distance pumping of concrete.

  • Improves concrete’s freeze-thaw resistance and mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep.

  • Ensures easy placement and smooth surfaces for low water/cement ratio concrete applications without loss of workability.

Dosage

  • It is recommended to use between 0.6 – 1.7 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement-microsilica-fly ash).
  • The dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to perform preliminary trial mixes in the laboratory to determine the correct dosage.
