Description
Polydos® BRK 03 is a high-performance superplasticizer admixture specially developed for underground structures. It is designed for wet-mix shotcrete applications requiring high early and final strength, significant water reduction, improved workability retention, and enhanced impermeability.

• Shotcrete used as the final lining in tunnels, mines, and underground structures

Features / Advantages

• Enables thick-layer shotcrete application in one pass, particularly in overhead applications such as tunnels and mines, thanks to its rapid setting properties

• Enhances adhesion between shotcrete and rock/concrete surfaces, increasing impermeability

• Provides continuous strength development at early ages, high durability, and excellent final strength

• Significantly reduces rebound and material loss during application

Dosage
It is recommended to use 0.6 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
The exact dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is highly recommended to determine the optimal dosage through laboratory trial mixes.
During consistency adjustment, the high water-reducing capacity of the admixture should be considered, and excessive water addition must be avoided.
