Description
Polydos® EG 450 is a high-performance, new-generation hyperplasticizer concrete admixture based on polycarboxylate, developed for the ready-mix concrete industry. It significantly reduces the mixing water, enhances strength and durability, and imparts excellent flowability and self-compacting properties to the concrete, even at low water/cement ratios. It is highly effective in maintaining concrete workability over time.

Dosage
For flowable and self-compacting concretes, it is recommended to use between 0.4 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
Dosage may vary depending on aggregate characteristics, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, trial mixes in the laboratory are strongly recommended.
During consistency adjustment, the admixture’s high water-reducing effect must be considered, and excessive water addition should be avoided.
