Description
Polydos® EG 455 is a new-generation, high-performance hyperplasticizer concrete admixture based on modified polycarboxylate, developed for the ready-mix concrete industry. It significantly reduces the mixing water, enhances strength and durability, and provides excellent flowability and self-compacting properties even at low water/cement ratios. It is also effective in maintaining concrete consistency and preventing slump loss.

In the production of ultra-high-performance concrete
In concrete requiring excellent flowability and long-lasting workability
In heavily reinforced or congested concrete structures that are difficult to place

In applications where early formwork removal or fast load application is required

Dosage
For flowable and self-compacting concretes, it is recommended to use between 0.4 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
The admixture dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, trial mixes in the laboratory are strongly recommended.
During consistency adjustments, the admixture’s high water-reducing effect must be considered, and excess water should not be added to the mix.
