Description
Polydos® EG 450-K is a new-generation, high-performance superplasticizer concrete admixture based on polycarboxylate, which can self-compact in narrow and deep sections with high reinforcement, without requiring internal or external vibration. While maintaining this self-compaction feature, it prevents issues such as segregation and bleeding, and can retain cohesion effectively. It has excellent flowability and penetrability properties.

In all high-quality concretes where high strength and low water/cement ratio are desired
In the production of prestressed concrete
In concrete for mass casting
In structural elements requiring complex and detailed molds with various geometries
In construction sites where quick form removal is required, in precast and prefabricated concrete production
In concrete where early high strength is desired under cold climate conditions
In the production of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC)

Dosage
For flowable and self-compacting concretes, it is recommended to use between 0.4 – 1.8 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
The admixture dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, trial mixes in the laboratory are strongly recommended.
During consistency adjustments, the admixture’s high water-reducing effect must be considered, and excess water should not be added to the mix.
