Description
Polydos® EST 81 is a new-generation superplasticizer concrete admixture specially developed for the ready-mix concrete and precast industries. It significantly reduces water content, ensuring early and ultimate high strength and durability. It provides easy self-compaction and flow for high-density reinforced concrete elements, maintaining consistency, and is ideal for producing high-performance concrete.

Areas of Use

• In the production of self-compacting concrete that can easily settle and compact in densely reinforced concrete elements

• In precast concrete where high workability and no segregation are desired

• In concrete production requiring early high strength

• In the production of precast and prefabricated concrete

• In ready-mix concrete production

Features / Advantages

• Allows the production of early high-strength concrete even at low temperatures

• Reduces curing time and temperature in precast element production, shortening form removal time

• Increases freeze-thaw resistance and improves mechanical properties such as shrinkage and creep

• Reduces segregation and bleeding, enhancing concrete's wear resistance

• Ensures easy compaction and smooth surface in low water/cement ratio concrete applications without loss of workability

Dosage
For flowable and self-compacting concretes, it is recommended to use between 0.6 – 2.0 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
The admixture dosage may vary depending on aggregate properties, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, trial mixes in the laboratory are strongly recommended.
During consistency adjustments, the admixture’s high water-reducing effect must be considered, and excess water should not be added to the mix.
