Description

Polydos® TN 347K is a new generation hyperplasticizer concrete admixture based on polycarboxylate, developed with advanced technology for the ready-mix concrete industry. It provides high water reduction at low dosage levels, extended workability, and high strength.

Areas of Use

  • In concrete requiring early high strength under cold climate conditions

  • In all high-quality concretes where high strength and low water/cement ratio are desired

  • In site concretes, precast, and prefabricated concretes where rapid formwork removal is needed

  • In concretes demanding high water reduction and long workability

  • In the production of all types of concrete with or without reinforcement, lightweight or normal weight, with difficult placement conditions

  • In concretes where a plastic consistency and good flow are required

  • In the production of Self-Compacting Concrete (SCC)

Dosage

For flowable and self-compacting concretes, it is recommended to use between 0.4 – 1.8 kg per 100 kg of binder (cement – microsilica – fly ash).
The dosage may vary depending on aggregate characteristics, concrete class, water/cement ratio, water quality, and ambient temperature. Therefore, it is recommended to determine the appropriate dosage through laboratory trial mixes.
During consistency adjustment, the high water-reducing efficiency of the admixture should be considered, and excessive water addition should be avoided.
